FM is the reason why we needed that switch box to change between the TV antenna input and computer input. that carried sound iirc. component video alone doesn't do sound, but i think the DIN plug on the Atari XE and XL computers included a component audio output.

i was talking about phone numbers, not e-mail addresses. e-mail addresses are fine, there is usually no way to glean location or get customer info by social engineering. it's very easy to be anonymous by e-mail. i'm not sure what your concern about e-mail addresses is.

i also use Silence, but it hasn't been updated in a few years.

considering using OpenKeyChain to just directly encrypt everything with PGP since it remains the most unbreakable encryption available to anyone.
