Advertising is violence

Think about it. An advertisement is an act or a thing with the stated goal of manipulating into spending money on a thing. Whenever you hear, see, smell or even feel an ad, you're being misinformed and your feelings are being manipulated into giving up a fraction of your resources.

It's a little more subtle than having a weapon held under your nose and being told to give up your money or personal property, but not by a whole lot
