    I invite many individuals to my timeline, and a lot of those are hosted by NAS. But none of those individuals ever mentioned anything about "free-speech".

    Your "free-speech" platform is only harboring individuals who above the STANDARDS of social interaction. NAS is not only providing them with a platform, NAS is providing them with a purpose and an excuse.

    You probably see this, but you chose to ignore it, you probably convinced yourself that its a worthy cause.

    What you do is good for something, indeed. It evolves the Fediverse by evidencing that setting the bar to zero results in this:

    Gab is also a "free speech" platform, so is X and every other out of the 100s. None of them are owner-operated.

    Only the Fediverse is owner-operated, and when you bring millions of ignoramus here you will kill the network.

    Again - you are here because there are hundreds of groups of people do what you do on all of the 100s of networks, only much better. You would not have any "followers" on any of the 100s of networks.

    I have no idea why you take this personally - maybe for lack of confidence. I hate all massive nodes equally, I do not differentiate and I attack anyone who protect them.

    @binkle In Illinois where I live, it is State Law that any Public Library that refuses to stock pornography in the Childen Section to lose funding.

    There is no misunderstanding. In Illinois it is Law that any public library that refuses to stock pornographic literature is going to lose funding.

    I simply cannot understand people's mentality about the Fediverse. Filtering and discriminating IS one of its missions - or its developers better make it its cornerstone missions.

    I know a dozen individuals in my circle of friends, relatives and other associates (who collaborate with me on my industrial designs and services) who tried Fedi, logged onto one of my clients, and refuse to do it again. They were repulsed by a few morons spewing kike nigga fag rants.

    Wake up people, we WANT these morons on the other side of our barriers. This is not "free speech", this is simply uncivilized behavior. I cannot keep promoting ownership of Fediverse clients while I do not have a way to keep my timeline clean of deranged individuals.

    The Fediverse is going to end up the same way as any and all rational and necessary inventions. For example,

    In Illinois, there is Law (its State Law) that any Public Library refuses to stock pornographic literature in the Children's Section is going to lose funding.

    People are coming to the Fedi with no purpose, with no intention to contribute, to improve. The Fedi has no value to them, so they do not care about polluting it, damaging it or even destroying it.

    People did not "chose against its use", people simply do not care to invest into it, the same way they did not invest in GNU and Linux, or no longer care to protect the purpose of the Public Library system.

    Live long enough, keep paying attention, learn to read between the lines and you will see the same.

    This is political activism. There is no other substance to any of this, this is pandering and vote shopping.

    There are many things the leftoids see correctly, including environmental issues, poverty, and yes - racism. There are racist bastards out there who refuse to even consider "content of character".
