     Debt jubilee is one of the few things leftoids are actually right on. Telling banks/creditors to pound sand is almost always a good thing for the little guy, and student debt is one of the most egregious kinds out there. It's terrible. The only reason to not do this is to punish posterity for life because they got a stupid degree. Except a lot of the time it's not even a stupid degree anymore.

     We know they are feckless because the are evidencing it. They are being feckless is not some "opinion", there is material witness and proof to that.

     Not being indebted is better than being indebted. There are very few examples where it's in someone's interests for them to remain indebted, and "you were financially retarded at age 18-22" is not one of them.

     I respectfully disagree. Not in this case, and not processed this way.
     
     This is political activism. There is no other substance to any of this, this is pandering and vote shopping.
     
     There are many things the leftoids see correctly, including environmental issues, poverty, and yes - racism. There are racist bastards out there who refuse to even consider "content of character".
     
     The burned created by predatory lenders and practices does not even make the top 100.
     
     So let's keep issues in the proper perspective.
