Stardock had Impulse even before Steam was a thing but they sold it to gamestop for $5 and a Funco Pop. You'd think Microsoft could have yanked it away years ago with the Windows Store, but they didn't even try and now the MS store is only useful for downloading Windows Subsystem for Linux.
