     What's kind of sick is the CEO of Arrowhead told people to direct their complaints to Sony and stop blaming Arrowhead just yesterday. This would indicate to me that they both liked the idea and he's just directing incoming rage into the void where Sony can ignore it so his studio stays clean.

     @caekislove @c @sickburnbro I saw a statistical analysis of Helldivers 2 sales numbers one twitter earlier, apparently this is the 6th or 7th largest title release Sony has published of all time but if you remove the PC sales figures, it's not even in their top 25, so a very bizarre move to kill interest in the game off of their console

     @c @sickburnbro Maybe Sony is just trying to kill third party development for their system all together. It's probably inevitable anyways since even the most dimwitted console dead-enders have realized that the real money is on Steam.

     @koropokkur @caekislove @sickburnbro @c True, but it seems like Sony and Microsoft are both moving over to models where they do cross-platform releases and focus heavily on PC, while having hardly any console exclusives, makes you wonder why they bother doing hardware at all, the only one who had proprietary games (until they get emulated lol) is Nintendo

     @koropokkur @PensiveCowboy @sickburnbro @c It seems bizarre to me how everyone has just allowed Valve a perpetual monopoly over PC gaming. Stardock had Impulse even before Steam was a thing but they sold it to gamestop for $5 and a Funco Pop. You'd think Microsoft could have yanked it away years ago with the Windows Store, but they didn't even try and now the MS store is only useful for downloading Windows Subsystem for Linux.
