Yes. DDR 5 SODIMMs are being repurposed into Desktop DIMM modules.

Some used RAM makes it to eBay.

I have some in stock to see what happened to the price. I can use it myself if needed.

Seems like as the market is a oligopoly then most production is preallocated via large contracts against future production.

This is why DDR5 DIMMs are unfeasibly expensive now.
