Oh, so it forces US domestic production to lower its price (or improve profits). Either way is a Trump "success"?

Assuming that $50 to $60 US oil is even profitable to pull out if the ground and sell.

Seems an odd way to restore the price?

Cutting production would be a better move, unless OPEC is in a charitable mood these days?

It's takes twice as much energy to refute bollocks than it does to create it.

Therefore no-one will want to take the time, energy and other resources to do so.

    Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Theory of Stupidity:

They are complementary and offer good perspectives 😀

Never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity.

Any sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from malice.

Don't also forget malicious compliance as a useful strategy/tactic.

Stick to the letter of internal rules. Especially if it's generally ignored or behind shedule.

Ensure that all all documentation is completed accurately and take your sweet time doing it.

If there is training (online preferably) ensure you get to 99% on all completed training. That level of competency takes time. Document your progress and record each module you pass. Print out completion certificates and keep them off site for reference.

Refer questions or issues to higher authority. Email is best for this and ensure that long email threads take time to understand and action.

Read the OSS simple sabotage manual for creative ideas on using internal bureaucracy against itself. It's its own worst enemy for performance and productivity.

    🙂👍

    @GossiTheDog

Unless something radical happens then NATO with the US is probably coming to an end, for now.

The name might continue or it may be reformed as a new organisation. North Sea European Alliance?

The UK and France will provide a joint nuclear counterforce. Defence spending will need to increase in Europe to compensate for the US no longer being involved. More Taxes.

The ongoing Trade Wars won't help at all. For anyone. Less Trade and Less Revenue.

If UK/US intelligence cooperation is reduced or abandoned that will be a huge issue going forward. For both parties. Less knowledge and information.

Europe will get involved in Ukraine more directly. More ramifications.

Aye. I'm not super familiar with Amigas but the floppy select mechanism seems a bit odd in that regards.

BBC's Archimedes and PC's seem to works a little differently 🙂

Any significant growth is users and activity on instances will need additional tools to help.
