@borememore That's interesting. Thinking about it, in a way the laser pointed at the center of a loudspeaker is doing the same thing except using reflection. The coil movement would be the same though. It's probably is getting a similar result :-)

@herr_irrtum It's actually not as bad as you'd think if you have the right tools. But yeah there is that fear, especially if the player means a lot to you. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be initially :-)

@makavel_i Ah okay.. in that case, go to that boot selector menu and then disable your boot drive. hopefully it will think there is no boot device and it will show the kickstart screen menu. A screen which looks like this or similar where it displays your ROM version
