   I would add improvements to moderation and administration tools.

   Any significant growth is users and activity on instances will need additional tools to help.

     @GossiTheDog these are all good things, but I fear what will happen to instances if they get truly popular.

     If we want popularity, I think a trade off would have to be dealing with the slop. I don't think 3rd party apps or even moderation services will stop it. Mastodon's best feature, imo, is having instances, since they can be smaller walled gardens.
