@pomegranate_stew @aral I read the book after watching the show, and while the idea is the same, the book left a lot more to guess, the show is a lot more explicit and brutal.

It’s a good watch imho, but yeah, it’s heavy.

@mcc as a french, i can tell you you are totally allowed to do that, in fact, jam and cheese is not uncommon.

I hope your camembert is from raw milk, and that you let it age enough to be almost liquid :).

(i'm vegan now, but man, cheese is the hardest thing to give up, and camembert is one of the best)

@mhoye when they do, i will absolutely use gimp to do it, and paste my signature in it manually.

Gimp is not great, but it is not the absolute worse, at least.

@bleistifterin @kellogh @inthehands @jmeowmeow i think you meant anthroposophical (which i know is not really a word, but anthroposophy is the steiner pseudo-scientific "philosophy" while anthropology is a science).

What they pretend to do (freedom of expression to children, catering to their needs and personality) is completely different from what they actually do, which is deprive them of knowledge, and orient their curiosity in very specific (theological) directions. They also hate dissent.

@encthenet seems like a lot of effort to avoid upgrading your python version and get all the benefits from that. Why not migrate instead? You might need a few changes, but *usually* python upgrades don't require many changes.
