No, Tor simply sucks for torrenting because:
1. No trackers inside the network.
2. Torrenting through Tor with regular torrents leads back to exit nodes which still doxes you, on top of that the traffic glows twice as bright and the performance sucks because exit nodes suck.
You use I2P to properly torrent and never touch clearnet.
If you want to share files directly with someone Tor is more convenient because OnionShare exist though. -

Someone should release an LLM, license it under AGPL and then attach one of those bullshit ethical use policies that restrict usage.
Why? Clueless people and pawns will see that policy and be happy that they're handcuffed, corporates and states will also see it and think all it's in order while avoiding it, because AGPL is too free. Meanwhile, freedom enjoyers that did read the license know that the policy means shit as it's defined as "further restrictions" and you're free to ignore it entirely and do as you want. -

This would be true if they patched codec libraries, unfortunately they only patch the Android release once every year or two and sometimes they don't even touch the codecs. I switched to mpv because I got sick and tired of dogshit decoding with AV1. -

Suiseiseki is correct, I can relate. Many of them (specially those that own iPhones) will justify running proprietary software and even be defensive when you tell them how they're getting scammed for getting a device that costs a thousand bucks that doesn't even allow to install whatever software you want in it, men are more on the indifferent side in my experience, but those that have iPhones often share a similar attitude. -

I had a PS4 that was soaked in diesel, the plastic cover was rotten away because of diesel and it fell apart, the disc drive completely destroyed, but the fucking thing refused to die.
It was on ver 11.00 so what I did is run the PPPoE exploit on it and inject GoldHen, worked like a charm without disk reader and plastic covers. -

As a 20 year old single male, I think it's very hard to find a girl who doesn't worship proprietary software and can understand that I only use free software and do not run proprietary software unless I'm getting paid to do so and it's on someone else's computer.
I've heard girls jokingly ask to "Netflix and chill", but when I tell them I refuse to watch videos "on Netflix", even if it is not being run on my computer, as it is such a threat to freedom that I feel uncomfortable with legitimizing it in that way and ask them what movie(s) I should prepare for mpv playback in 100% freedom, they stop talking to me.
What's worse, if they do stay, they see my 100% freedom computing setups and how all browsers are configured not to run proprietary JavaScript and how youtube.com redirects to an invidious instance and think I'm weird.
Sometimes I get their numbers and I send them a greeting via SMS, also noting that I'm reachable over irc and email, with my gnupg key attached via MMS and instructions how to verify the key and they often mumble something about "green bubbles" and "Android", even though the message was sent via asterisk from Emacs.
I clearly don't use dating sites as those require running proprietary software, plus none of them have any respect for privacy either.
How come it is so hard to find a girl who is indifferent about software freedom, rather than dedicated to never achieving it?
I feel like I'm going to be a wizard and then stay like that forever (but that may not be a bad thing). -
