@jeridansky I wasn't familiar with the matter, in the article I read 86 year old who plowed into market was treated gently because of his age. I have very mixed feelings about this because it seems to me that he had a duty to not be driving if he was confused that easily. Though I know it could happen to younger people too. I watched my 85 year old MIL drive and the second I was able to say you should not drive anymore, give your cars to my SIL, I did. It wasn't about her. She could harm others.

@volts.wtf I don't know enough about testosterone for health reasons, but as for the rest of it - speaking as a woman - meh. And speaking for myself, I actively dislike the unnatural overly muscled look. Methinks these men are looking at romance novel covers and thinking that's what women want.

@randahl I think I'd like to start seeing the description, Trump "makes up" that.... because we really need to drill home to people that Trump is not living in reality. Whether he is lying on purpose or doesn't have a clue about anything, the result is the same. The man does not deal in facts and reality.

Ouch. Watched the film, based on memoir Priscilla, recently. It was painful to watch. I didn't grow up listening to Presley, he does have a great voice, but oof I had no idea he was so creepy and controlling and fucking NUTS, and "into little girls", and Priscilla comes across as utterly insipid - then again she was controlled and groomed by Presley from the age of 14, with what appears to be the blessing of her parents! 0_0. I was just left thinking. what dull, empty people all appeared to be.

Sharing very personal story as I read the Epstein emails. So many "adult" creeps mistreating young girls doesn't surprise me in the least. When I was 16-17 (I don't exactly recall) I was dating son of head of a big oil company. I later learned the executives at firm (much older than me, late 30s, 40s I guess) asked the son if I was "good in bed." He said she doesn't sleep with guys yet. They had a fucking COMPETITION to see if any of them could get me into bed. Beyond Disgusting. #MeToo #Epstein

@tchambers indeed. my mother in law has annual dermatology checks and caught skin cancer early. It’s being removed in a couple of weeks. Mammogram caught a return of breast cancer a couple of years ago. Also early. Also removed.

@inthehands I note all of these on our shared family calendar and make a point of not doing anything financial on those days - just in case it has legs and it really is organized.

@PhoenixSerenity She is rightly scared. It's insane. I wish she didn't have the added worry on top of her health. My MIL (91 years old) also is so upset about what is happening in America, although luckily she had few health issues right now.

@jeridansky thanks. I did a four year stint of them a few years ago and they helped a lot. But apparently in my case I should have kept them up. ☹️ I just kept ignoring that my allergies were getting worse and worse again. I am hopeful that this time will be the charm. I opted for at home daily drops even though not covered by insurance - especially as I do not want to be in an ENT waiting room for 20 minutes after each shot with people hacking away! 😵💫

So it's about a month now and here's my updated report (yes this is a TMI type post) about the advice my ENT gave me to add half a teaspoon of baby shampoo to my 1-2 x day nasal irrigation. IT REALLY GETS THE GOOP OUT! Still have post nasal drip from allergies (I was bright red all columns and max reaction for all when I had a recent skin test) BUT such an improvement in getting the goop out. I start sublingual immunotherapy next week. Hoping that helps quickly!

It still irks me no end that insurance will cover weekly IN-OFFICE allergy shots, but not at home daily sub-lingual drops. I gather because FDA hasn't approved sub-lingual for allergies, but OFFS. I gather the sub-lingual are faster acting too. I don't think there's much of a price difference, and of course there's the disruption and cost of an office visit for injections. So ridiculous.

@StillIRise1963 I read, Trump says..... and I immediately tune out. I don't fucking care what or how or to whom he says anything. We already know it's going to be lies and utter nonsense from an addled brained, black hole of emotional neediness, corrupt, racist, pathetic imbecile.

@StillIRise1963 @Remittancegirl also I think it misses the opportunity to categorize his behavior into a few simple descriptions that would resonate with voters. Every time Trump is quoted it normalizes him because it implies that his words are worth considering and that it’s not just yet one more example of a deranged and dangerous man who has no business being anywhere near the presidency.

I have often wondered if hospitals might be interested in having old photographs of their earlier years, or what kind of historical society might want them. I have no idea who these people are, but clearly there was a photoshoot at the hospital given the set of similar photos I have.
