    @dcc In the 70s the action hero could look like a regular guy like Eastwood or Bronson, which was badass and believable. Steroids messed that all up in the 80s, lol. The 90s brought back a believable regular looking guy as the action hero in Bruce Willis.

    1980s horror movies are superior to any other era. Practical effects, interesting themes and lore, cute tits, warm colors shot on film, evil bad guys who weren't trying to outsmart everybody. The gross out gore wasn't overused and the evil other was defeated by the cute non-slut and one medium guy lived to help her mop it up. Easy peasy.

    The fediverse is fragmented. What once stood together as the last wall of holy outposts against the evil encroachment of total faggotry on the internet broken, supply trains raided and decimated, no word into or out of some posts for many years.

All falls to rumors and hushed tones as the benevolent leaders turned kings of madness by the rendering of the evil spells cast a weather eye about for behavior that might indicate a bad actor who's step has fallen out of line.

    For the worm tongued devils who worked their insidious spycraft amongst the captains of destiny it was a pyrrhic victory, for once you have trolled the last user out of the realm of your minds eye the only person looking back out of the black mirror that is your screen is you as the silent oblivion swallows you. A black bloodless emptiness opens its maw.

    On the edge of the map there are no monsters, on the edge of the map there is only nothing.
