It's right to oppose a genocidal invasion in Ukraine; it's also right to oppose a genocidal invasion of Palestine, and its supporters. You don't get to choose who is worthy of life. I voted for VP Harris, but I also feel she risked our democracy by supporting the Israeli genocide in Palestine. If she alienated enough progressive voters by doing so to tilt the election, that's her responsibility.

Our Congress provided funds and weapons as grants, not loans. Ukraine paid all of the help back already by killing destroying much of the russian weaponry and invading soldiers - our joint enemies! This was done at great human sacrifice of valiant Ukrainians. Trump seeks to help Putin and weaken Ukraine out of his personal interest as putin owns the orange rapist - through kompromat apparently. The pluralistic self-governing region of Northeastern Syria known as Rojava is under attack by mercenary bandits funded by Turkey. The area is defended by a multi-ethnic militia of Kurds & Arabs, the SDF, which defeated ISIS as an ally of the US.

Women have full rights in Rojava, and form 25% of the militia. Due to attacks of SNA bandits supported by Turkey, hundreds being former ISIS members - 20,000 Kurds have fled the Aleppo area to #Rojava

Fortunately, there will also be millions of bureaucrats in state government who can resist by doing nothing. I lost track of a deportation order once which resulted in a young working guy being able to stay in the states despite having a minor drug using offense. I worry most about militias being emboldoned to act in accordance with racist policies.

I voted for V. P. Harris, but if I had lost multiple relatives due to Israel using bombs mostly supplied by the Biden - Harris administration, as many Palestinian Americans have? Would I have a super-human level of forgiveness? I doubt it.

Even worse: immediately after kidnapping all but two male doctors at the hospital, Israel bombed a nearby apartment building, killing 90 people and injuring many. Israel indirectly murdered the injured by detaining 50 medical staff who could have saved them. #Palestine #Genocide

I wonder if the Secret Weapon of Ukrainians might be that they have preserved their humanity, despite Bucha, and follow the Geneva Conventions in treating Russian POWs? These young conscripts seem to trust that they will be treated decently if they surrender. Better, to surrender & be forced to say Slava Ukraini - then to retreat and have some tik-tok chechen shoot them. May the steady stream of surrenders become a flood! #Ukraine

A nakedly partisan Judge such as Cannon breathed a sigh of relief when SCOTUS revealed it was also partisan by throwing out the Constitution and granting Trump immunity for official actions. She knows her fellow partisans on the Court have Trump's back, just as she does. The only thing able to rein them in will be a unified democratic Congress with President Biden having the votes to reform this biased Court.
