avian flu strains jumping to mammals is a very real threat, because of how destructive such flus can be to the human body because the virus is adapted to fucking birds and hasn't achieved equilibrium in the human organism yet
because of the sheer scale and way we keep animals industrially it's only a matter of time before this happens, we have to dose animals with antibiotics from cradle to grave just to keep them from being constantly sick from bacterial diseases

yeah i was compiling the gentoo librewolf overlay - i don't have much experience with this because my daily driver is devuan, i've been setting up a gentoo machine because i've recently got access to hardware capable of doing so
look at the options, it still enables pulling binary blobs per default, unless i'm misunderstanding the wording
daily use browser is librewolf / devuan
