They bought a deed to some wilderness in Chile and named it Galt's Gulch, then the project died when they found out the deed was fraudulent and the land they thought they bought was federally-owned.

    @sun You can't make money off of that like you can with a blathering 11 minute step-by-step tutorial, only 2 minutes of which is necessary

    One of my least favorite things about the modern day internet is how simply writing stuff down for others to learn from, whether in wiki or FAQ form, is dead, and everything has to be long-form videos because simply putting something together for the greater good is a thing of the past

The official line is it's due to the war in Ukraine, but they've been harassing the Russians for a while now, refusing to let them compete under their country's flag and things like that. They say it was due to cheating, but everyone knows what China's been up to, so that doesn't carry much weight.
