Back then I wasn't aware of the Kekistan cringe and just thought it was a funny meme. Also, the whole kek thing surrounding Trump's election early 2017 was a very nice memory since a lot of life changing things happened to me in that year. Without going into details, the start of that year was extremely rough and the outrage from leftists, and especially the HWNDU meltdowns, was a well needed comedic relief (2017 did end for me on an absolute high note). So there is also some nostalgia involved with the kekistan thing.
