I’ve got a situation even closer that that track triggers.
Bassist (primary driver) for our band who killed himself…..with a shotgun my dad got for him and that he tried to get me to buy a couple months before he used it to dome himself.
I told him he should keep it for self defense….his family and all that.
I had no idea his brain cancer had come back and shortly after his wife kicked him out….possibly over the noise the band had been making……

My dad died from prostate cancer.
It got in his bones.
His hip exploded trying to step out of the shower.
They gave him a hip replacement so he could lie in a hospital bed for a couple months before being moved to an end of the road care facility.
On top of that…..he had had it for years and didn’t tell me until the last few months.
But him and my stepmom DID tell my wife and get her to keep it from me.
Needless to say that was fucked up.
