@nimda next stop, fedi emoji :) over the weekend i wasted my life a bit.... the following is the result.
this one is :butterfedy1:
@nimda :butterfedy2:
@nimda and finally :butterfedy3: ....
now if a person puts each of these above emoji next to each other a bit of magic happens, or should happen. i'll let you try it first @nimda if u like :)
@nimda
:butterfedyA:
:butterfedyB:
:butterfedyC: respectively
as you can see im an expert weekend waster, i liked what dsfgs did but it just needed a bit more color, anyone can make them a single color for their website but when we are emojiing fediverse they should be joyful as f@ck. again if they are lined up together they might do something special. :p
@silverpill btw i don't know where you stand on image arranging, but i wonder if when a post has multiple images whether theyshould be arranged the way mastdon does it? dunno.... do u have ideas about it? if u need someone to do the css im here anyway
@p the importance of using fediverse in an anonymous way, possibly separating different aspects of ur life into different accounts, and assuming your public posts will be public are all pretty good ideas....i'd say also this is a timely reminder that scamazon, ms, cloudflare etc are plain evil and should be firewalled as a matter of basic respect for the human condition.
@soonix THANK U for ur response!!!!! I just did a bit of extra digging through the torrent published by dsfgs and found this in the LICENSE file:
>PeerTube logo adapted by DSFGS, original by Framasoft CC-BY-SA 4.0.
thats basically these :peertube_linered: :peertube_tv: :peertube_red: :peertube_line: :peertube_vert: :peertube: emoji, and now THIS!!.... hint: the following makes my head EXPLODE....
> Description: This is a copyleft icon for AGPLv3 fediverse. If you are on a proprietary and/or closed-source platform like F'book Threa(t)s (replace 't' with 'd') then legally the use of this icon CANNOT be used to link to your account.
They have basically made the icon it so Threads users CANNOT use it LOL hence the opposite of META getting control of fedi....(btw @fsf is this even legal?)
>a Google image search
do u have the URL on how this relates to dfsgs according to goggles weaponized hallucination system? it may be a reference to #fedipact and not dick smith supporteers :fediverse2: fedi emoji
3: "fediverse" existed long before "metaverse" we should probably sue them first for polluting the "blah-verse" with their trash, shame noone trademarked "fediverse" for AGPL, right?
4: re resemblance: meta doesn't own the idea of intersecting curves, not the infinty sybmol the meta and demonic emoji are both symetrical whereas the dick design is not, also the dfsgs design includes many colors of the demonic logo without being demonic, also the dsfs design is unique in that it looks like a cute lil butterfly, i don't see any cute animals in the other designs, not at all, i see goggles staring at me and demonic ideologies, lol. there are zero resemblance.
so yeah i didn't mean to stay up this late and now im pumped with adrenaline based on how excited i am by what dsfgs did. lol. if u get the torrent you'll see the full license (magnificence) for urself, the below image is not the full license as i said above there is a LICENSE file with the above clause.
thanks, i must wind down now.
@r @silverpill @icedquinn @thendrix @gabriel @sun yeah the :mastodon_oops: is def better than just 404.
kudos for putting it up as an emoji @nimda, ol' :fediverse: has done its time....good to have something more classy with :fediverse2: :)
was trying to work out why it looked pixelated and it seems its because they exported it as a gif maybe to keep filesize low, so i just exported as a png below....that should fix it. Its only 13 kb which is still almost half the size of the old fedi emoji!
while i'm here can export the peertube emoji :awesome:
@nimda i dont think it matters if png is pixelated, the browser renders gif and png differently, tor browser renders gif in a pixelated way, even when shrunk, but png when shrunk becomes nice and smooth. i did this in inkscape, the pink blends better and the eyes look better.......i'll add the svg data in the next toot

Also is a proper sqare. At 100px its basically impossible to tell the difference between them. i like quality, but i think for the long term the 17kb size is better for load times. i'd highly recommend it because i get the impression fedi does suffer from issues like bandwidth.
EDIT it really looks quite stunning as a png im so glad we are here to help fedi develop, tell me how it goes.
@nimda so wats the final :fediverse2: prognosis 32kb, or are u spent for the day and 17kb tomooow: :)
@nimda this :peertube_tv: emoji * might be helpful for ppl posting peertube vids too.
@nimda for the sake of anal completeness...
@nimda @fsf @gabriel @Framasoft ok i had to check something... folk need the red too to match the red :peertube_tv: or there is a weird mismatch that doesnt look right... and yes the designer included this red one in the torrent :)
heres :peertube_red:
@nimda and this one is pretty hot too (edit: exported at 64 other size was mayb too small)
@nimda yeah i'll be using them occasionally depending on wat video i'm talking about.
:peertube_tv: for the horizontal red widescreen one (or :peertube_wide: u decide :)
:peertube_vert:
:peertube_line:
yay!
@nimda yeah it does look good! now also when folk publish on :peertube_line: peertube they can do it with a bit of panache... eg
1. :peertube_tv: Interview with Miss X
2. :peertube_tv: Presentation by Mr Y
3. :peertube_tv: Workshop with Z
Feel free to follow my :peertube: Software Club channel for more.
Also :peertube_vert: My cat just did this...
@gabriel @Framasoft @fsf you might like this
@nimda btw i dont think ur a low iq admin ..... im just not the most easy to understand writer, lol
@nimda @Framasoft and its matching :peertube_linered:
I like frogs 🐸Interested in finding a mitra instance that doesn't do eth (monero/bitcoin are okay). One person said go here https://mitra.fediverse.observer/list but the site doesn't work over Tor browser.
