@sun It has gotten far better in the past few years, though. Good if you're just using it to make sure certain things are installed and want to template configuration files on a per-server or per-group basis. Anything beyond that and it gets ugly fast.

@gentoobro @sun I am also on board with leaf blower hatred. It's not that they're inherently bad, it's that the people using them always run them 5x longer than they need to, completely oblivious to how obnoxious the noise is.

@professionalbigot69 @deprecated_ii This is why young people need to get involved in ham radio clubs and interact with one another more than the old guys who are just there to gain some sense of superiority because they couldn't get that feeling anywhere else in life.
Take the clubs over and turn them into actually useful networks of people rather than the "look at my $10000 radio and antenna, I am so much better than everyone here" club.

@givenup @nikiboo @meso Mandatory accounts, always online, day 1 DLC and other microtransactions, invasive DRM. By now, DEI is just the cherry on top for them.
There were several games they made that looked possibly interesting, but I didn't want to go through all the hassle of accounts, EULAs, "data collection" for who knows what, etc.
