@bot don't worry, it will go away as you get older

It can definitely go super wrong if you aren't careful

@bot I think that's pretty normal.

You're underestimating how wrong pleasure seeking can get tho

@bot well yeah but I feel like everyone kinda intuitively understands that (even if they aren't always careful).

@bot Which is to say, that people always deserve the negative consequences of taking it too far, because they always knew better.

Idk I feel like you're forgetting we're on fedi and what that means in terms of horrific outcomes of pleasure seeking

@bot It definitely can but I feel like people just naturally understand that, and then disregard it as trite

@bot @pwm you should always do what makes you feel truly happy

@bot I get what you're getting at and I'm conflicted.
On the one hand, people who cut their own dicks off did it to themselves, they paid for it, no one forced them.
But at the same time some people do encourage them to do destructive things like that, but again, I kinda feel that it's your fault who you surround yourself with and that it's your responsibility and moral duty to guard yourself against bad influences.

This isn't even about fedi really, that's just an extreme example. The entire point is that you can (and be tempted to) make terrible decisions because of lust and wanting, temperance and patience should be your view of things so you can make good decisions for yourself and your future family.

Repent.

@bot @pwm crazy talk. You should chose a life that makes you truly happy without thinking how others judge you

@Diceyocean @bot Blindly following your base instincts and doing what feels good exclusively under the cover of "always doing what makes you feel truly happy" is destructive in the extreme. You cannot trust your fleshy desires to help you make good choices. Good is not defined as what makes you feel good.
Encouraging others to destroy themselves through hedonistic pursuits is evil, it's that simple.

@Diceyocean @bot @Nudhul That is pure, unadulterated projection as far as I can tell.

@pwm @Diceyocean @bot following your id without consulting your ego can at most keep you alive but nothing more. you're just a base animal in that regard.

@Nudhul @pwm @bot if you are miserable you lost the game. Real clownshow hours on here most probably should be in a institution
