Does anyone else using #FediLabs have issues?

My app keeps crashing. When I open the app. When I want to open a conversation. When I want to reply...

It also has issues with showing the profile names properly, at least for me...

I use an older phone, a Samsung S22 Ultra, but that should still be able to run the app, I recon. I clear cache every now and then, and that seems to help some.

I love the Fedilabs app, it's the one I prefer. But the crashes take some of the joy out of it. So I was wondering if more peopl have issues with it.

I tried to contact @apps here a whole ago but never saw a reply. I keep sending error logs the app provides me with. But the last app update was in March, so I wonder if the app is still being worked on? 🤔

Please let me know if you have issues too, so hopefully the app mods will be able to find the reason of the crashes and, hopefully, be able to release an update with fixes...

Riding the hometrainer now while watching Bones.
I thought it was time to walk Arwen already, but due to the buzzing terrorists last night, I was up earlier and now I'm ready earlier.
As it's still too dark to safely walk in the woods, I'll ride the bike some more.
Around 6 I'll head downstairs to change my shoes and get ready for walkies with Arwen again. 😊

So hey ho, let's ride some more....

Ow the exercises I did at the gym seemed to have helped a little. My right shoulder feels a little less stiff now. It's still annoying, but just a wee bit less, which is definitely nice.

Aaaaaahhhhhh I wish #Pixelfed :pixelfed: had a draft option where the post would be saved when you accidentally hit the back button!!! I was at 98% of finishing a post with 6 snaps, including all the Alt texts and such and my thumb just misses the right button... And poooof!!! All the hard work.... Gone... 😭
I guess I'll have to start over then...
But a prompt to "save as draft" would have been a big time (and energy) save here...

When I joined this server, I made an #introduction Toot. As I've recently made some new Friendos here, I wanted to write a new intro Toot!

I'm Cynni Pixy, nicknames obviously, and I'm a 44 year old female. Though I don't mind the she/her pronouns, I also accept the they/them ones.
I have a chocolate brown Labrador, who will turn 11 on July 15th. She's the love of my life and has really been my life saver in desperate times in the past.

I'm #AuDHD / #ADHD & #ActuallyAutistic. I struggle with chronic depression, and an binge eating disorder (so fighting the obesity is a daily thing) and I have some physical issues as well
The biggest ones are #Fibromyalgia #Spoonie (who took the spoons and why do my muscles hurt that badly?), hypermobility (I didn't know it could bend that far 🤔) and I have a (second) new right hip. The one I got at birth wasn't in the best condition.

While my AuDHD presses me to keep active and busy and to do better, my fibro just needs more rest... Finding a balance that works is a daily chore!

I'll be getting the keys to our new small home on July 1st. It's exciting but also anxiety inducing, too many changes all at once! So I'm Tooting loads about that... 😊

I either Toot my fingers off, or I'll just lurk. I struggle with commenting on other people's toots, it's easier to reply to replies to my own toots. If that makes sense.
I'm trying to engage more. I try to boost when I can, but no Alt text means no boost...

Hmm 🤔 I'm having a lot of loading issues with #Pixelfed social this night/morning.
I've had 404 not found errors, it sometimes posted my replies several times, it was slow with uploading pics, I wasn't always able to edit them...
I have tried two Pixelfed apps and the mobile website.
I checked my connection...

Ello sweet and lovely Friendos 💜

Slowly going back to the usual business, well, sort of, I guess...

Had a lovely day yesterday and a decent sleep. The gym was OK enough and Arwen and I had a lovely walk just now.

Now we'll have to wait for our friend and their dog to be ready for walkies, which will be later than the last 5 days. So hopefully Arwen won't mind the extra wait...
And hopefully we can still get some lovely shots, even though we will miss the sunride now.

Some dishes will need my attention later today. And I'll need to get back to eating healthier and moving more, as my weight was slowly increasing again. And not in a good way 😉.

Ah well, let's ride the bike a bit while I write some more for my blog and while I watch some more Downton Abbey. And hopefully our friends will be ready early so we have enjoy some lovely walkies soon again.... 🐾

I really should use the boost button more 🤔
I do sometimes boost some toots from my different/other accounts.
But for some reason I'll just press the star 🌟 button on other toots, instead of boosting.
I was worried that if I'd boost too much, people could get annoyed with that. But... Then I remember that Masto has the option to hide people's boosted toots. So if I do boost too much or too silly things... People can just filter that! Duh 🫣

Now... What to boost every now and then? 😉

I was wondering how the location tags are made as sometimes I want to add a place and it doesn't know it. Is there a way to add locations to images that the app/site don't know yet? Or a way to "teach" it new places?
I now try to find the nearest place (granted some places I've been were rather small), but it would be nice to tag the actual place to the image.

Will the app also support the collections? The app I downloaded a while ago, that you shared here, has no support for collections yet. But the web app that I got from the Pixelfed let's me add to collections. I just can't actually see the collections in that app yet. 😊

Heya! Ever since the last update (I participate in the beta program), my app often crashes when I want to open toots to read them before replying....
It just closes the Toot and switches back to the main time line.
My phone warned me that it is a crash happening again and again.
Running version 3.28.2 (515) according to the last release notes (screenshot attached).
Hopefully this bug can be fixed in a next update! 😁

Trying an app for my old fashioned Windows 10 PC, as I wanted to see if that would work better than having several browsers open for all my Masto accounts. Finally found a (free) one for Windows, so lets see how it works... So far, it's looking good. It's called Whalebird. Anyone any experience with this or another app for Win 10? It's an oldie, from June 2015. I still love it though as I do most of my gaming through the Playstations. Gaming on PC got harder for me when my hands got worse. Plus the upgrades for PC's these days are too expensive for me to keep up with. But for Masto and blog writing, and things like Flickr and such, it's still perfectly good.

So anyone any experience with Whalebird or any other Win10 based Masto app? Drop me a nice Toot as a comment, thanks!!! :mastodance:
