And enough males and females are still brainwashed enough to somehow excuse this… and now they have been busy busy busy destroying democracy. Patriarchy's bro code gives absolutely horrific and shitty men power. That -is- what patriarchy does best.

I've not been a fan of the past two SNP leaders; I didn't pay much attention to this year's SNP conference when it happened. But listening to my friend Lesley Riddoch speak about Yousaf's speech, I thought I'd give it a watch. I'm glad I did.

There are problems; but this is a good speech.

@luckytran This really shows the separation between ordinary people and governments. Democracies give us the illusion of choice but power always finds a way to power through.

In its zeal to exact that revenge, however, the U.S. government overreacted, out of fear and bigotry. They targeted everyone who happened to look like the people who had carried out the attack. Those of us who had done nothing wrong were forced to pay the consequences for the decisions of others far away and disconnected from us. We were interned for years, in open-air prisons, while America went off to fight Japan, Germany and Italy.
