Used to be you could do Facesbook or not. A social media add on so-to-speak. Until everyone got rid of their websites and decided Fecesbook was better for them with more reach and much less cost than running their own website. It got worse when one had to even *log in* to see their product. Monopolies suck. Bring back websites and get rid of your FB website page. Please.

The username I use here is a remnant of my old IRCD days. It's actually a name I grabbed from a book by an author we had as a guest at one of the earliest CanCon's ! (Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay our GOH) I kept it for mastodon when I first got on because it was mighty quiet here when I started and more people knew that name.
