Talking to Jesus, and listen to Him reply, is the only real requirement.
When it says, knowing Jesus is eternal life, it is in a similar since, to a man and wife knowing each other. It is not a shallow relationship. It is a deep understanding and friendship that Jesus wants to have.
And the only way to get that, is by talking with Him. You don't have to figure out how to be better friends, or trust Him more, or anything like that, you let Him worry about that, just talk with Him, about what ever you want. -

Phantom Palladium (hazlin@amala.schwartzwelt.xyz)'s status on Friday, 17-May-2024 06:38:33 JST Phantom Palladium @sickburnbro pretty sure a lot of people do this. There are videos of it on youtube. Now, should you do it? Probably not, I'm not sure what the, chain of causality is that brings this about. But, the people I've seen do it, are all about talking to aliens through meditation, so, yeah, probably want to avoid that. -

The biggest treasure of being single and atomized, is that you can see the world as it really is. And, confront lies, and replace them with unpopular truth.
What I have often seen, is a person start to see through a lie, or realize a truth. But, they cast if far away from them, when they realize it would damage their relationships, with marriage, or church family, or community.
The more, disconnected you are, the more easily you can walk with God.
> and can focus their energy and attention to the Church
I'd be very wary of anyone that teaches to direct your energy to any church. They devour peoples time, money, and energy. Often giving nothing in return.
I've found God requires, neither dedication, nor money, nor even time, to use you for His purposes. Jesus' ministry is a good example of this.
Where ever people are gathering money to do something for God, God is almost certainly not involved. -

Phantom Palladium (hazlin@amala.schwartzwelt.xyz)'s status on Friday, 05-Apr-2024 15:18:34 JST Phantom Palladium @Suiseiseki I've heard international shipping is criminally expensive for some reason.
For me the most appealing part of a freedom device (source code included) would be the sheer security in knowing it wasn't setup with backdoors. (especially for a cell phone like device or tablet)
Secondarily to that, in a... non-internet paradigm, you could still build on and improve what you have. (of course, I think source code is a poor design document... it would be better than nothing.)
What I see in other fields, are people selling consulting time. Maybe you can't easily get the parts, but you don't have to, in order to make a profit (or for people to benefit from your knowledge).
Anyway, this is what a wondered while reading your posts xD Putting together a true freedom device is, a bit beyond me, so I am just running a linux distro I can handle. But I cringe every time I have to do a system update. What code is being install? I have no idea. -

Quick search says
> malicious code being embedded in XZ Utils versions 5.6.0 and 5.6.1.
MX-Linux only provides 5.2.5 as the latest version so, safe as well? xD -

(screenshot[0] of, what will be my diagnostic code going forward :D. Ruby doesn't seem to have a keyword to stick all the new stuff into its own name space. So I am going to set that aside for now, and actually get some stuff painted to the screen... or procrastinate xD)
Though I did wonder if the * in your version had special meaning (screenshot[1]). I pulled up some language cheatsheets, but didn't see anything about it. -

Okay, got that straightened out. Object::methods is different than methods. methods holds what is in the current context, and I can find set show and update there, but not add. (mystery solved xD) -

> added things to the toplevel
Oh! Well that is obvious after you say it lol. And, I had to reference Window (which I believe is initialized as a singleton) to "add" an object, because the add method wasn't added to the top-level object.
You know, I kept thinking, "Ruby is just inferring what my code means, and piping my request to the correct object." But, that seems pretty irrational in hindsight xD
I'll take some time to digest the rest of your message :D
