Last I checked we lost the 2024 election. We're going to need more voters voting with us to not lose again.

There's more than one way to make that happen, but I sure would prefer to have multiple option to get there.

Is sustaining your anger worth reducing our chances of winning future elections, not to mention having fewer people helping us hold the fascist regime at bay long enough to have sufficiently free and fair elections to have any hope of winning.

Your statement that NATO is fracturing is still bullshit.

The European members of NATO are pulling together to bolster an alliance threatened by the perfidy of The Criminal in the White House. That's the opposite of fracturing.

That there are security dynamics beyond Europe needing attention is nothing Europe hasn't already known.

What is new is that they can't depend on the US to handle it for them any longer because MAGA is a death cult.

So long as US weapons manufacturers are open for business, Europe doesn't need to replace US industrial capabilities any time soon, it just needs to be able to buy what it needs.

For the short and medium term, that's mostly what Ukraine needs, and that increasingly looks like it will be paid for with frozen Russian assets.

And for all of Trump's bluster about walking away from NATO, he doesn't really seem interested in actually doing so.

the Attorney General of Minnesota, Keith Ellison. After the assassination of Speaker Hortman and her husband, he was flat out told not to come today. Not only did he show up, but he was at the front of our march to the capitol and then he spoke eloquently and with passion to the entire crowd. It was a badass move and it reinforced that we are all in this together.

I come away from this day so sad at the loss of Speaker Hortman and her husband. But I am also coming away ...
