   When I suggested that the #Heatwave2023 should be known as the #ExxonScourge, I was debating with myself.
   The company that pioneered #ScenarioPlanning before and during the #OilPriceCrisis of the 1970s was a clear contender for the top spot. #ShellKnew!
   You nailed with that tweet. The #Heatwave2024 shall be known as the #SHellScourge.

     Directly, I see no legal method for a "forced royalty payments scheme."

     Indirectly, there is something that is pretty peculiar to the #US: private ownership.

     Think of #Norway, e.g.: the state is the owner of the natural resources, administering its use for its citizens.

     #BigOil has knowingly and willingly been causing the #ClimateCatastrophe. Make them fully liable for all ecological damage.
     #NationalizeBigOil!
