Okay, it’s time: based on a dream I had last night, and in an abundance of caution, I’m about to switch my profile to require follow requests and then I’ll soft-block all nonmutuals. This way I’ll feel (more) free to express myself openly, with a better sense of community. Been thinking about it for a while. If you find yourself suddenly not following me and you’d like to continue following me, it can’t hurt to ask. I’m just gonna make a clean sweep of it for ease of processing.

Ignorant Yank here, genuinely curious: I thought everything on the island(s) of Britain (not Ireland) was British, with England, Scotland, and so on being parts of Britain (and “English” pertaining only to the England part) . . . ? If British doesn’t include Scottish, is there a name for all the peoples of the island(s) of Britain?
