@reb Although one time a friend who didn’t know anything about cats was catsitting and put cat litter in the food bowl and the cat ran away. I guess they sorted that out, because later he called the friend whose cat it was to say that the cat was making a strange sound and should he take her to the vet? After some back and forth, it was determined that the cat was purring.

• Pricing several boxes of books at the bookshop today, making room for another batch tomorrow

• A good sales day at the bookshop, which we needed because rent is due tomorrow

Look whose sleep we disturbed while assessing problems with the solar batteries today—poor terrified baby! 🥹 I was afraid to close the door in case it would squash or imprison them, so I draped a black scarf with a gap at the top. When I returned to check at dusk, fortunately the little soul had moved on.
