But then why are there 2 arrows pointing to the pile? 1 arrow would mean "this follows" but 2 arrows kinda should have a meaning. Are 2 pieces of the pile special? 😅
Confusing image!

@bytebro @JessTheUnstill @dalias Everyone in the fedi changing is more efficient and enables sustained growth. So if you want sustainable, make a change.
Fediverse has what 20M people?
If only those 20M change to be more welcoming, many more might come. Way more newcomers than 20M.
If you require newcomers to change, the fedi will stay at 20M and then will slowly die out.
🤷♂️
@dansup So what do you mean exactly by "doesn't link back to pixelfed"? Because the portfolio behind your link has a "View Profile" button that links to your Pixelfed profile. 🤔
Also, please display an overview of all pictures of the portfolio somehow! I won't click through 18 pictures without even knowing if it will be worth it.
@aral @ErikUden How often do you want to copy that same comment? You behave like some reply-bot by now. 😐
@_elena I might have to look into yunohost myself somewhen next year. *-*
Sound helpful!
@smallcircles @peertube Yeah, the handlng of external links by Mastodon (the thing I use) is far from good. Even for other Masto-instances.
A link to a Masto-post on another instance will also open in a new tab, not logged in. I have to copy the URL into Masto's search field to open it internally.
It has to be possible that the server queries a link target (via webfinger?) if it is a Fediverse-instance and if yes links it a a post (or other internal object). 😕
@vruz Have you read the posts at all? It's not about Threads.net or closed systems.
It's about in this case really bad UI. If you search for an existing account on a for-you-blocked instance, it should not say:
"This account doesn't exist" (which is just wrong)
but:
"Could not find this account. It belongs to an instance which your instance has blocked. The reason given is: XYZ" (True and helpful)
That is a Masto/Fediverse problem.
