We're designing a feature to reduce storage costs for admins. The idea is to apply rules to videos based on specific criteria.

Rules can be:
* Delete all resolutions except max one
* Move files in another object storage provider/system (glacier...)

Criteria can be:
* No views since x days
* Age > x days

I'd really like to hear your feedback on that

@westfox35 It's still the case, but since most mobile browsers have a big resolution nowadays. So I don't see the point of transcoding the video in h264 for low resolutions (but I see the point of having AV1 + h264 for all resolutions)

@westfox35 Too much metadata were attached to log context when PeerTube retrieves oauth tokens from the database. The log is only displayed when the admin change the default log level to `debug`. It is written to server FS logs, that are only accessible to sysadmins and PeerTube admins.

⚠️ Version 8.2.3 of #PeerTube has just been released!

This update addresses several bugs and enhances security.

Please update your platform as soon as possible.
