@skinnylatte I have deep trouble remembering the specifics of conversations. It always felt suspicious to me when other people could recall full conversations that happened months or even years ago. At most I recall one specific thing that was said from it, plus the overall feeling/conclusion. And I found it very distressing when people insisted I should be able to remember better than that. No, sorry. My memory is reserved for Chopin nocturnes and Beethoven sonatas, and the map layouts of every FPS I played since age 14. Give me a pencil and I will draw all of Quake III Arena, which I haven't played in at least 8 years. But a conversation? You're kidding right?

@skinnylatte there's someone like this near me, there's a grand piano in the family mansion. He's an -excellent- pianist. Quite sure he doesn't get paid enough for it to be a living but hey, family mansion.

@skinnylatte I'm at an odd sort of in-between point. My memory for visual things and situations seems to be so much less precise than most people's. I can picture a face, but it's fuzzy or floating in nothing, without context. I remember what was communicated in a conversation but not the words that were used. But I can play entire symphonies in my head. For instance, right now it's the William Tell Overture (and not the famous bit at the end that everyone knows, the middle section)
