Yup. the biggest con is the attempt to keep an unsustainable private business going by public subsidy to protect the debt holders rather than letting it take its 'natural' course and going bust.

Can I add.
Faster and faster internet speeds are better.
There is a law of diminishing returns that has mostly been reached in many places.
Paying premium prices for silly fast connections is mostly a waste of time. Stability and network coverage are more important once a reasonable speed is reached.

Since keys and keyboards are in the news, let us remember the only correct keys are QAOP M/Space. Any deviation via WASD or KMZX means you are wrong. Please toot to spread the correctness of this message.

I have always used MakeMKV to get the raw file from my Blu Rays and then Handbrake to encode. I do similar process for DVD except I use Smartripper to get the raw file (or straight backup onto HDD which can be read as if it were the disk sans DRM by Handbrake or VLC).
What I have found is that you can extract subtitles and extra audio tracks such as Directors commentary very easily from DVD but not with Blu Ray.
