@davetroy I don't see the USA as unified country giving tools to enforce progressive approaches to politics. This system is here for a reason. It was a country created by rich people for rich people. Anything else is equal to revolution.
@jacklaridian@unabogie@rooster tbh Dems are not ones dragging support there. Please stop pretending that it is their problem. It is everyone's problem. Get off fucking high horse created by isolation of internet and vote.
@maxleibman there is no AI, there is very expensive and wasteful code using LLM which apparently board is pushing down all engineer throats. So it is not even Google ruined Google. Board of directors of Google ruined Google.
@thomasfuchs esentially they have been shaken out of it, or they will go on to murder to everyone else and themselves. I am surprised that somehow hatred is rationalized as part of normal political discourse. Maybe there is some secret knowledge for center and media...naah, can't think of any.
@mjf_pro@Teri_Kanefield it is funny how torny subject of life appointment of SCOTUS judges might actually save democracy. Funny how life works sometimes.
"But Spain was already divided. It has been since the civil war in the 1930s and the following four decades of dictatorship under General Franco. To this day, there's never been an open debate here about victims and aggressors. Old wounds still fester" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX8szNPgrEs
@thomasfuchs you can make that choice easily accessible. Which was not done in this case. Much easier railroading was chosen, which irks lot of people considering we now see fallout of one place controlling conversation. Yes, it is annoying to have this conversation, but I think it is justified, even if design was well meant.
