I've seen other versions of this where a woman will sleep with a lot of guys and either get pregnant or lie about being pregnant. The men don't know about each other (this is part of the scam). The woman then tells each man she slept with that he's the father and that she wants an abortion, but can't afford it, and then asks for cash. This can be lucrative for the bottom feeders, and could bring in a few grand in short order.
