At the age of 18 you’re given a job and it’s just to fill out a captcha that course corrects the missile relative to a static picture of a target. At the age of 105 the final captcha is a course correction directly into an infants crib. You lay down in bed with your wife, confused at why this was your life’s work, but believing you’ve lead a blessed life, before dying in your sleep.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I mean my hope is placed in trying to subvert AI somehow, assuming AI gets good instead of continuing to be trash. I'm sorry for being a downer, my point is just that there's more at stake than death.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I've said before that a holocaust is the closest thing there will ever be to a rapture, since it's the only time everyone decent leaves the earth as the earth turns into hell. There were intriguing thoughts: what if the Nazis only burn down the things I don't like. What if their militarization leads to them being prioritized for elimination over leftists by the establishment. What if the coordination and technology that emerges as the establishment either merges with or destroys the Nazis is easily hijacked by leftists who are watching and waiting. I guess these really were all unrealistic. I am tired. I was tortured as a child and now I see the already existing torture infrastructure becoming nationally normalized in full sight. I would rather have been killed as a child. I think a lot of trans kids growing up in coming years will wish they had been killed as a child. The knife is already in deep. There is a certain temptation to just plunge it further and twist.

Apparently you can just institutionalize someone for life now for being autistic and committing any crime.

I figured out what the right means by free speech. They mean that the lies that worked for most of human history should continue working for them. They are angry because they view these lies as a built up structural inheritance like everything else they call civilization.

It occurs to me that people who experience heavy psychosis or drug induced breakdown of normal consciousness usually report an intense increase in subjective sense of meaning. It's possible that a subjective sense of meaning is a default property of neural networks or even matter, and that detailed or deliberative thought actually dilutes this.

There's an easy way to solve climate change. Just get the US to officially declare war on the climate. In 30 years we'll live in an Arcadian paradise.

The Cybertruck is literally a deniable assassination weapon. Auditing requires taking the truck itself back to Tesla and/or acquiring the data from the central servers, where it can be conveniently molested while retaining a chain-of-custody statement that looks nominally reasonable. Additionally, once people start getting wise you can start actually planting evidence, blaming hackers for the deaths. Tell me I'm paranoid.

Apparently the rate of adult transgender identity has remained constant. I don't believe desistance is common so this would complicate things. At any rate I'm just going to assume that 0.6-0.7% of the population are murdered for being trans and that it mostly happens before adulthood.
