    @YumeTsuki @disarray @coolboymew @sun you'd be surprised. VN engines have a lot of weird hacks in them because it's really easy and low stakes to tinker with them. I forget the name, but theres some VN engine out there written in Java, but the VN scripting is done in its own homebrew scripting language which is basically a gutted version of python that runs outside of the JVM.

    @mangeurdenuage @kaia as far as im aware this is only an issue with AVC. if you used yuv444 in VP9 or AV1 you shouldn't have any issues. (vp8 is yuv420 only)

    @mangeurdenuage @kaia if you used ffmpeg pass in the option -pix_fmt yuv420p when encoding AVC.

    @mangeurdenuage @kaia you used YUV444 in that AVC video brother. alot of AVC decoders are YUV 420 only for some reason.
