It has been a strange, home-coming like day, re-acquainting with some of the texts that solidified my persona and thinking in my late 20s and early 30s. I am definitely a bag of echoes, occasionally reiterating something some great person said, in my own inadequate way, more to assure myself I've "got it" than to assert any real claim to wit or wisdom of my own. I can claim to have been exposed to great ideas. That is enough for me.
