I believe it was changed to indicate that it would check multiple notifications (i.e. "check all") as being acknowledged. Hence, multiple check marks.
I have no idea how it was determined that this was a needed and effective change.
Just set up an SSL cert using Let's Encrypt and it could not be any simpler!

How I read it in my head.
The use the term "artificial intelligence" for stuff like chatGPT and LLMs is like how people use the name "hoverboards" for things that ride on the ground and do not in fact hover.

@yoniden The sticking point, I think, is how do self-hosters best collect payment? Plausibly maybe you tell people to use paypal and when you get paid email the zip file. But it's clunky and doesn't scale well.
