Sanders might have moved the needle in 2016, but not in 2020. People wanted stability and normalcy after the Trump chaos and Biden, who had been Obama's vice president, was the right person to provide that. He was also good for gobbling up Republican votes. I guess being female and not white was what kept Harris from getting those votes.

Foren, in denen ich bin bzw. war, haben die Reaktionen oft wieder abgeschafft oder zumindest reduziert, weil die negativen Reaktionen einfach für ständig schlechte Stimmung gesorgt haben.
