The government has dropped their commitment to increase the amount of money disabled people in England can claim to adapt their homes, which would have enabled installing wet-rooms or stairlifts. They want to drop this quietly. Are you going to let them?

@botvolution dates are much sweeter than tamarind, with no tart/sour flavours. I've cooked with tamarind, which would be very different in this dish.

Education in England is in danger of being reduced to the bare bones, after a £370m government mistake forced head teachers to plan for further cuts. Heads must choose between cutting TA posts or delaying infrastructure projects. More incompetence and neglect from this government. Kids will suffer.
