@kaia Hide-a-bed or sofa bed is very old. We have one that is very old, and will replace without the feature. It's extremely rare that it gets used as a foldout bed. The metal mechanism makes it weigh a ton. And for us with a premium mattress the lines in the mattress where it folds aren't comfortable. But for some circumstances, sure. Just my opinion. YMMV
On the left, the guy who ordered his 15-man death squad to kill and dismember American journalist Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. On the right, the former leader of Al Qaeda with a $10m US bounty on his head. And in the middle, the most corrupt US President in history.
But alarms don't always help even if you have them. CO detector sensitivity degrades over time, and people neglect to replace them. Some people have poor hearing and/or sleep too deeply to hear alarms. CO poisoning is insidious, reducing both physical and cognitive abilities to take action. Dog w lower body weight wd have been overcome first. Wife may have died last, ignoring her own symptoms to attend to dog and husband.
CO poisoning is a real threat to most people, even when camping outdoors. Indoors, always have detectors, replace every decade, be aware of early symptoms such as headache, narrowing of vision, disorientation. If CO poisoning is even suspected, get to fresh air quickly, then re-evaluate. It slowly robs you of ability to think and act.
#MelGibson "I’m glad Trump’s here at the moment," Gibson continued. "It’s like daddy arrived and he’s taking his belt off, you know? So, I think he’ll get some results here quickly."
Gee, I hope this didn't happen, and #Trump kept his pants on. But maybe they were on fire.
There is no frigate like a book To take us lands away, Nor any coursers like a page Of prancing poetry. This traverse may the poorest take Without oppress of toll: How frugal is the chariot That bears a human soul. - Emily Dickinson
“Every kid starts out as a natural-born scientist, and then we beat it out of them. A few trickle through the system with their wonder and enthusiasm for science intact.”
@JustGrist Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk say human population not nearly big enough: ‘If we had a trillion humans, we would have at any given time a thousand Mozarts’
We probably have a thousand Mozarts now, but they are stuck working in an Amazon warehouse.
#AI bros have lost billions of $$ in a crusade to justify their fever dreams. They need to steal copyrighted materials. They need nuclear #fusion. They need all our drinking water. Now #Microsoft wants to re-open the #ThreeMileIsland#NuclearPowerPlant that caused communities to take potassium iodide in 1979 to protect their thyroid glands.
All this so we can have real-time analysis of cat poop.
They warned that #AI would lead to the extinction of humanity. Listen to them.
@tomiahonen Private citizen Trump is building not only civil cases for theft of intellectual properties, but criminal cases for things like violating the Logan Act in negotiating with Netanyahu. He and his campaign are so proud of their illegal activities that they regularly say aloud that these are just an exercise of their "liberty", a keyword in many RW declarations.
@georgetakei Even with excellent handwriting or typing, such notes are too often mysteries. What did I want to do with a blue zebra? What was that all about?
