As a former Minnesotan who doesn't pay very close attention to the state's politics (but much more than a state to which I have no ties), it's my understanding that everything good Walz did, it's because voters and organizers pushed good bills into the legislature for him to sign. He also did bad things.

The lesson: push him and Harris, and no need for hero worship.

Some ppl here have resisted quote-boost because they thought it encouraged piling on--but per above piling on was essentially deserved, brought upon someone by racist behavior

When people flooded here in 2022 & asked abt QBs, they were told to shut up, which adds to perception that Mdon is racist

@kiwi @seachanger The most horrible part of all of this--and there are many--is I find myself wishing for the DNC to do its classic jujitsu and just install her. I don't think anyone else can be nominee bc $$ and while I think a proper primary would have been much better, it may indeed be substantially less beneficial to go thru a big fight now for various reasons
