    Women aren’t allowed to have boundaries and say no to red flag 🚩 traits.

    In addition to hating the whole premise of porn, I know I couldn’t personally handle having a partner who lusts after other other women on a regular basis and uses them to become sexually satisfied. It’s a blow to your self esteem because you won’t ever be able to compete with the women in porn as to a man, she’s perfect, she will do anything and everything sex wise, she has a flawless body, and so on. But, men don’t see it this way. They don’t see it as cheating because they don’t actually have sex with her. But, if the tables were turned, and you were the one who was using other naked men to get off……cue the rage.

    I don’t get the appeal of most YouTube “philosophers” like Philosophy Tube.

    I wondered what he’s been up to and watched a few minutes of his latest video where he hyped up how he’s a woman who has had her work stolen. 🙄And, that was enough of that!

    I think that most of these “philosophers” don’t care about the actual skill of philosophy so much as they like that it’s a way to preach to an audience about their views under the guise of an ancient and worthwhile activity that’s typically undertaken by those of a higher IQ. Their audiences aren’t those who actually enjoy the art of philosophy, but people who will agree with everything they say.

    These men don’t actually use true philosophical methods to truly analyze an issue, so it’s incredibly disingenuous. They hide under the guise of philosophy to push a certain view, and piggyback on the societal perception that “philosophers are smart!” It’s easy to see how condescending they behave, and that it’s merely a front for insecurity.

    Contrast him to others like Peter Boghossian who have a very different approach. Peter is a former professor who is quite skilled at not only getting people to express their viewpoints but also examine why they think the way that they do, and determine what it would take to make them change their minds. This is more of the spirit of philosophical thinking, not the egotistical dudes who speak in a very condescending way to the camera.

    It’s just something about egotistical condescending men that really grates on me. It’s easy to see past the facade once you understand their motivations.

    I’m really not understanding how Twitterites have decided that all of the videos coming out of Gaza are fake. People say things like “why is that being filmed?” as if people aren’t constantly recording the dumbest shit in mundane, boring-ass American society? (Well, everywhere, really.) Do I think it’s all real? Of course not. But to tear apart these videos with the dumbest arguments just makes you look stupid. At least try to find real reasons why videos would be fake.

    What is this woman’s motivation? She’s making valid complaints about how too many top fashion designers are gay men, but the “opposition” photos are of women who have boob jobs and hip implants.

    She’s not doing any of us any favors here, in how she chooses to attack the fashion industry. I really can’t stand it when people do this sort of thing when trying to make an argument.

    I see this sentiment A LOT both online and IRL, that if a woman is disorganized or messy, that she must have ADHD. Yes, I have actually had people say this to me, as if I don’t already have a damn spoon shortage for other reasons on top of not being raised in a family that prioritized keeping things spic and span.

    Funny how we don’t say that men must have ADHD if they aren’t neat freaks.

    This really needs to stop, as I see men saying it about women who don’t keep a spotless house, I have women who say it to me because I’m not perfectly organized, etc.
