@LostInCalifornia Oh, idk, and this is a completely UNHEARD OF CONCEPT, but you know, using NORMAL looking women who don’t have tooth 🦷 asses that are pumped full of silicon?
And this is the homophobia I’m talking about, I’m still doubting you read down this far because the whole “hahaha you jackin it to a MAN” thing is just disgusting.
@ChasingWaterfalls Welp, pointing out that size 8 isn’t obese tends to provoke “yes, it is” from fashion boys, so maybe she’s trying a different angle.
She has a point tho. There is a class of people known for flat chests, and narrow hips, and it’s not women.
@ChasingWaterfalls She veers a bit off course. and homophobia isn’t going to help. HOWEVER
Body shaming is endemic in the fashion and entertainment world, and it’s always “the camera adds 10 pounds so you need to be underweight.” It’s a standard adopted by men, and frankly by gay men.
I’d prefer it she didn’t use plastic women, and women do come in all sizes, including petite. I’d also prefer it if another actress didn’t adopt anorexia as a career move.
I don’t know how to break through tho without adopting a beauty standard to fight a dangerous beauty standard.
She’s not doing any of us any favors here, in how she chooses to attack the fashion industry. I really can’t stand it when people do this sort of thing when trying to make an argument.
