@kj00 Nobody said that radical feminists are like “oh, fuck the rest of you, women are the only ones who matter!” God forbid that women put themselves first in anything. 🙄
And honestly, I wouldn’t want a feminist group fighting for other types of rights because this gives men an opportunity to be even more fucking lazy than they already are, by expecting women to do work for their benefit.
@Aflowernamedyou@GalacticTurtle I miss the days when scalping was illegal. You know, when you’d scalp on the street corner and be arrested? Our government is such a joke.
Not a major encounter, but annoying nonetheless. A few people were chatting and not paying attention as I was walking down a corridor. The group moved to the side at the last moment and the man said “excuse us” but I didn’t respond as it was his group that had been taking up the whole width of the walkway. I guess I was supposed to say “excuse me” for just existing in my own personal space, as he snapped back “well excuse you, too!”
But, yeah, I wasn’t rude, I was just walking on my “side”. I didn’t give a nasty look and I wasn’t hogging up the space. I’m sick of these scrotes who expect kindness and if you don’t deliver, if you are just neutral, it’s not good enough for them and they feel the need to put you in your place.
@HebrideanHecate COCSA (child on child sexual abuse) is going to spike. There is going to be more of the same old bullshit “they were playing doctor!” Idk what it’s like elsewhere, but at least here they look at the age of the perpetrator in relation to the victim in order to determine if it was abuse or just “curiosity”. IMO this needs to be removed as it already causes much mental anguish for the victims (well into adulthood).
@Jennifer_Lee@LisbonMuse@Sapphoro You had health issues though, and it wasn’t just to avoid getting pregnant. I still don’t think it’s good for teenagers to get hysterectomies when all they want is sterilization. This is what a bisalp is for. (Removing the fallopian tubes.)
@Jennifer_Lee@LisbonMuse@Sapphoro Sadly, BC opens up women to more diseases because then men can say they don’t need to wear a condom. Most men don’t actually care if they give their partner a STI. Again, it’s the woman who is putting her health at risk, first with pumping her body with hormones and then leaving herself open to diseases. Men get all the benefit and none of the drawbacks. It doesn’t even seem worth it when you factor in the big orgasm deficit for women.
@Sapphoro I support women who are CF however lots of young women don’t think they want kids until it hits them a few years later in life. I don’t think a woman this young should have her uterus removed.
I saw a post on the CF sub yesterday where a 19 year old was excited a doctor was going to give her a full hysterectomy and I pointed out she’d be thrown into menopause at the age of 19. I have a feeling that it may have been a karma farming post as it’s extremely rare to find a GYN who will do a full hysterectomy on a woman that young who isn’t a TIF. Of course these idiot kids don’t care, they just want what they want and don’t understand the health ramifications.
@AnungIkwe How do you definitely know that Brittney does not have an SRY gene? Are you aware of the intersex conditions where the infant has ambiguous genitalia but is actually a male because they have an active SRY gene? Would you say that Caster Semenya is an adult human female? Why aren’t you looking at the entire picture here? It’s not about one characteristic, it’s about all of them put together.
