   I’m really not understanding how Twitterites have decided that all of the videos coming out of Gaza are fake. People say things like “why is that being filmed?” as if people aren’t constantly recording the dumbest shit in mundane, boring-ass American society? (Well, everywhere, really.) Do I think it’s all real? Of course not. But to tear apart these videos with the dumbest arguments just makes you look stupid. At least try to find real reasons why videos would be fake.

     @teratology @ChasingWaterfalls Dude, media is angry about Blinken telling Al Jazeera to tone down the rhetoric, and angry about one of their own losing his family to an Israeli bomb.

     They are mostly angry that they got caught with their pants down when the hospital’s casualties were 1/4 of what Hamas said they were and the missile came from the south.

     Me, I spent an hour looking at the thread and getting pissed that it was still wrong according to freely available public sources.

     I don't think it matters how many casualties there were, Israel has been proven to attack residential buildings, hospitals, churches, and evacuation routes they ordered Palestinians to use. Those people are not Hamas or resistance fighters.

     The reason, BTW, the fake hospital matters is that the Palestinians Authority denounced Hamas a day before they started the rumor.

     A hospital gets bombed every 3 days in Ukraine, but you get people with a religious fervor and embassies get burned, and Abbas walked back his statement.

     The only thing your side will achieve is more death.
