@cyberlyra I feel like if I accomplish nothing else in life, I at least manage to get a few students a year to use password managers!

I personally use KeePass, which if combined with cloud storage (I use Nexcloud via @mayfirst) gets you the convenience of a cloud service without any company holding your keys.

@coatilex thanks for this. Why is it so hard to have a book without a store in it? My favorite ereader was the Sony reader before they added a store to it. Such a great device.

@rose_alibi Yeah... I have long loved my Samsung tablet with LineageOS, but it is starting to fall apart and reject repairs.

For folks who like "loyal" devices (as @ethanz puts it), e.g. FLOSS, non-spying, etc., any favorite tablets or e-readers?

I'm personally still on the side of Limit, I think, just because there are people I want to follow who are on Threads and have yet to move. But I would not block such a move if the community wants to go this way.
