@Steve @ntnsndr I appreciate your perspective. And, the announcement post and reporting say the team is still exploring exact legal entity and structural options, which is why I felt it was an important moment to bring up the #cooperative model as an option.

@ntnsndr and others, do you know of any consumer, worker, or platform cooperative domain registrar for domains beyond .coop? After paying nearly $40/year to renew some soon-expiring domains at Gandi, and generally rampant private equity in the domain registration space, it would be awesome to support a #cooperative. #platformcoop #cooperatives
