I was just blown away that Gemini can read my handwriting perfectly and transcribe it.
Since I don't want to give it my personal writing, I tried the same thing with Gemma running locally on Ollama. It thought I was writing random letters and swear words.

I have no illusions about the beneficence of OpenAI, but I think in a decade or two to come, we'll be thankful that the coup against the nonprofit parent org failed.
Thinking this after hearing a friend describe all the daily medical/nutritional/etc. data he feeds into ChatGPT. I still would not recommend doing that FWIW.
