@futurebird please please please teach students what a 'file' and 'directory' are before they end up in my college classes. If you could touch on relative vs absolute path that would be great, but I would be happy if they just understood what a directory was and had a sense of file organization.

@derek It's hard. I have a colleague who refuses to travel for work. Another who will only travel if they can stack several meetings over a few weeks. I'm still figuring out my own calculation. Good luck

@derek Got to admit, I just started posting some of my SciLit recaps to LinkedIn and I'm underwhelmed so far. Especially with these "LinkedIn Expert" nonsense.

@ntnsndr I guess I don't see the process that this would support. In my experience tech supports and enforces good process. If you don't know the process or have that dielled in that it doesn't matter what tech you pull in.

@ntnsndr Can you tell me more about what that would look like? I'm not a huge fan of Loomio but it servers a very different function then mastodon
